Jimmie Enright

Jimmie Enright began his professional career at age 15, when he played with Rufus Thomas. After high school he formed the group "The Suspicions", whose album "Let's go Get Wild", sold over 30,000 copies in London alone. The group toured in as opening act for such bands as "The Kinks", "UFO", "Journey", "The Police", "The Pretenders", "The Go-Go's", and "The Joe Perry Project".

Back in the USA, Jimmie worked with such artists as Teenie Hodges (who wrote Al Green's "Love and Happiness, and B. B. King's "The Thrill Is Gone"). Jimmie also performed locally with Keith Sykes, Shawn Lane, and the Cut-Outs. Enright has also worked with famed Producer Don Nix, who has worked with Leon Russell and George Harrison.

Off stage, Jimmie has scored local film and television projects, including Channel 5's "Kids Count" specials. Jimmie has also been a guest speaker, as part of the N.A.R.A.S. "Grammy in the Schools" program.

Jimmie currently runs "The Control Room", a recording studio specializing in unknown, undiscovered, and local talent.  He plays keys in various clubs and events with Even Odds, a local R&B band.  Jimmie is also working with S.Y.S. Records in Memphis playing keys with  CWB.
